HELPING A NEW MARKETING LEADER TO SHINE

THE PROBLEM:

Jane* had been promoted to a marketing leadership role but she didn’t have bags of marketing experience to fall back on.  We were approached by Jane’s line manager to work with her as a mentor and marketing guide.

THE SOLUTION:

We started with a chemistry meeting to make sure that Jane & Gareth could work together.  They then agreed the parameters of their coaching relationship and met with Jane’s line manager to agree what success looked like for this process.

What followed was a series of 90 minute online mentoring sessions where Jane shared a marketing or general leadership challenge and Gareth worked with her to uncover a range of potential solutions which she could choose from.

THE RESULTS:

Gareth provided J.O. Sims with a bespoke mentoring program for our head of marketing.  Through his guidance we have become more confident in our marketing decision-making and have developed a clear marketing direction for the overall business.
