New flavours burst through for Bulmers CIDER
Heineken’s Bulmers was getting seriously outdrunk in the market by newer fruit ciders like Koppaberg & Rekorderlig, as well as the more traditional Magners brands.
So we repositioned Bulmers as a pioneering cider maker and overhauled all brand design, including bottle shape, logo and advertising.
The results fizzed off the charts. Crushed red berries and lime Bulmers No17 became the #1 flavoured cider in the UK within months of launch and secured 22% of market.
